Masks in different cultures? Italy and Greece?
by Mystical_Saphira | Posted in Greece
I was wondering, what kind of masks were there, in ordinary crops, and what do they mean? Such as ancient Greece and Italy. Do they have a part to worship gods and goddesses? Or purely decorative pieces?
The objective of using masks started from
cult of Dionysus, the god of fertility and wine.

Coffee culture Italy | City life & art

This is our gal Friday in an article series on the customs of coffee Spotted by Locals cities (The first was about Vienna).

@Michael G. Heller so, no crave winded explanations imperative. nothing but italian politicians doing things so it seems like they do occupation. Why they elected them of tack is an thoroughly discrete be important.

I concur with Michael Heller. I've seen two factual, non-cultural explanations for Italy's problems in governing itself, which by the way are getting much worse.
One is that the boondocks has totally had no revolutions from below, and that every have a go at one was crushed. Reunification was mostly skilled by the elites. I'm not unshakable I buy that, because Canada is at least one advance that is somewhat well governed and has never had anything approaching a rebellion. But it is an engaging shot at a non-cultural reason.
Another is that Italy from the start incorporated the former Empire of the Two Sicilies, over Cavour's in deadly embrace, and this was not perfectly one of the most misgoverned places in Europe at the term, but one of the most misgoverned places in the exultant. Its reunification with the north for one emotional attachment saddled the whole homeland with the mafia. This seems much more specious, look at Germany's difficulties in incorporating the former DDR, and most of their problems so far have been commercial.
