I persevere in New York so going to college in Canada would not be too crazy, but i can't find a information base of Canadian schools like college board... any one have knowledge of any? or know of any really good hospitality/ travel/ tourism schools in/ cheap Ontario?

Why not try Univ of Toronto, or even McGill Univ although the latter is in Quebec. Concordia Univ. wont be a bad choice either. In general the good schools in Canada are Univ of British Columbia, Univ of Alberta, Waterloo Univ., Ryerson Univ.
