The Chicago Southland Congress & Visitors Bureau awarded $2,100 to the Village of Orland Hills for the Soir in the Park Celebration. This grant will be used to attract outside visitors, and their dollars, to the Chicago Southland pale.

The Party in the Park Celebration will be held on Friday, June 29th through Sunday, July 1st at Kelly Car park, located at 16675 S. Haven Avenue. The grant will be used to devise a website and brochure for the upcoming event targeted to visitors facing the Chicago Southland region.

The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau developed the City Tourism Marketing Grant program in 1991, and since the program’s inception has awarded over $850,000 in grants to relieve not-for-profits and municipalities in promoting their events and attractions. Annually, the Section can award up to $46,000 in five grant cycles.
