Most Italian North Americans are of Italian origin in the south, largely Sicilian, but are there many who have origins in the north? I myself am part Italian Canadian, but my family has roots in Turin in the north-west.

Cafe Munchkin » North

Hubby and I have always been intrigued by North, a restaurant at the Realm which serves contemporary Italian cuisine.  Every hour we go to the Territory, we always see that the correct is so ornate.  The satiety and fall short of of diners in a restaurant, I swear by, is always a fresh signs of worth.  :)  On Watch over’s Day, I adamant I prerequisite to have lunch at North, so we did.  We simply had to stand a 30-moment deferred because we didn’t have reservations.  Our bad!  The stop was value it, however.  We were seated at the patio, much to my daughter’s like.

For our antipasti, we ordered the Triad of Spreads: Eggplant, Hummus, Pesto Goat Cheese and Garlic Bread.

My daughter could have obviously devoured this serving dish all by herself.  Our unanimous favorite was the hummus, followed by the goat cheese and eggplant.

One matter about North is that they don’t have a kid’s menu. Oh well.  For her entree, my daughter had Baked Ziti Bolognese…
